Zambrite Edu is made by Zambrite, a Zambian software company that has spent years building web, mobile, AI and ERP systems for Zambian businesses.
Why we are building it
The constraint in a Zambian classroom is rarely the teacher’s ability. It is time and materials — one teacher in front of a very large class, few textbooks to go round, and a syllabus that has to be covered regardless. The lesson that would land best is usually the one there was no time to prepare.
Most software aimed at this problem hands teachers another content library to search. We think the useful thing is narrower: take what the teacher already has — the topic, the syllabus extract, the past paper — and turn it into something the class can operate, tonight, without a training course.
That is the whole product. Everything else, the dashboards, the question banks, the mobile-money billing, exists so that a school can adopt it without the teacher having to fight for it.
What we hold to
Interactive or it is not worth building
A pupil who drags the ramp and watches the graph move has learned something a bullet point cannot teach them. Everything the engine produces is aimed at that, which is why we ship simulations and runnable code rather than prettier slides.
Assume the phone and the bad connection
The evaluation happens on a mid-range Android over a metered connection, and so does a lot of the teaching. Page weight and offline behaviour are correctness requirements here, not polish we get to later.
Local by construction, not by slogan
Kwacha pricing, MTN and Airtel money, the Zambian syllabus, a Lusaka phone number that a person answers. When the localisation is in the mechanism you never have to put it in the marketing.
Never manufacture proof
We are early and we say so. No borrowed logos, no invented testimonials, no pupil-outcome statistics we have not measured. When we have results, we will publish them with their method.
Where we are
Zambrite Edu is pre-launch. The platform works — you can build a classroom today — but we do not yet have the pilot results or the school case studies that a page like this normally fills itself with. Rather than borrow someone else’s, we would rather you tried it and told us where it falls short.
