FAQ

The questions we actually get asked.

If yours is not here, ask it — the answer usually ends up on this page.

Using it

  • One line describing what you are teaching — "Grade 9 electric circuits, double period" is enough. You can add the syllabus extract, a past paper, or a question bank if you want the lesson pinned to specific material.
  • Usually a few minutes, depending on how much material you gave it and which model you are pointed at. You watch it assemble rather than staring at a spinner.
  • Yes, and you should. Every part of a generated classroom is editable before you teach it — reword a question, drop a section, change the simulation. Nothing is published to pupils automatically.
  • It is strongest where a pupil can manipulate something: sciences, mathematics, computing, geography. It works for humanities too, but the interactive parts there lean on sourced material and checks rather than simulations.
  • Today, yes. Bemba and Nyanja support is work we intend to do, and we would rather say that plainly than list languages we have not shipped.

Connectivity and devices

  • Teaching does. Once a classroom has been opened on a device it keeps working offline, and pupil progress syncs when the connection comes back. Generating a new classroom needs a connection, because that is where the model runs.
  • Yes. It installs as an app from the browser and is built to be usable on a mid-range Android over a slow connection — that is the device we design against, not an afterthought.
  • No. The common case is one teacher projecting or sharing a screen. Pupil accounts exist for schools that want to assign work to be done individually, but nothing requires them.

Paying

  • Yes, on every paid plan. You approve the prompt on your phone. Card works too if you prefer, and schools can be invoiced.
  • A free plan, not a trial. Five classrooms, no time limit, no card. If that is all you need it is all you should pay for.
  • Cancel any time — there is no contract and no notice period. Within the first thirty days of a paid plan you can also ask for the money back, and we process it.

Your material

  • They are stored against your account or your school workspace and used to build your lessons. They are not sold, published, or used to train anyone else’s model. See the security page for the detail.
  • You do. You can export a classroom and take it with you, and if you cancel you can export before you go.
  • On the Enterprise plan, yes — a private deployment, with your own model provider keys or a model running on your own hardware.
